Carl Robert Gray

               Carl Robert “Meatball” Gray, 76 of Northern Cambria passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

               Born January 14, 1950, in Spangler to the late Carl and Thelma (Barnes) Gray. Also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Gray and a sister, Bonnie Bardelang.

               Surviving is his wife Sandy Litzinger Gray of Northern Cambria; five sons, Bob “Gumby” Gray, Mark Gray, Robert Lizinger wife Jennifer, Scott Litzinger wife Anessa and Adam Litzinger; fifteen grandchildren, Amber, Carl, Blake, Autumn, Willow, Robert, Haley, Austin, Ethan, Declan (Breanna Sheesley), Braden, Derek (Arianne Williams), Seth, Nicole and Tyler; five great grandchildren, Jayne, Felix, Emberlynn, Grayson and Bayker; a sister, Paula Jo Kline and husband Greg along with many nieces and nephews.

               He worked for Greenwich Collieries Mine and D&D Wood Sales, Nicktown Pa as a maintenance worker and ran the debarker.

                Meatball was passionate about spending time outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and hunting. As a lifelong member of Camp Ramtadger, he also enjoyed woodworking and bringing old vehicles back to life. He cherished his pet Snoop, who passed away last fall. Known for his sense of humor, Meatball always kept those around him laughing.
