Jean D. (Davis) Pugh

    Jean D. Pugh, 89, of Northern Cambria, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Embassy of Hillsdale Park with her son at her bedside.

    Born August 1, 1936, in Alverda daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Glenn) Davis.

    She married Malcolm R. Pugh in 1957 he preceded her in death on February 2, 2018. She was the last of her immediate family.

    Surviving are a son, Barry and Suzanne Pugh; granddaughter, Jennifer (JJ Slonaker) McMackin of Mahaffey and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Jean took great pride in tending her garden and found fulfillment in preserving her harvest through canning. She also had an interest in crafts.

      Friends will be received Monday, March 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria where a funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Patti Ferguson officiating. Interment will be at McDowell Cemetery. A celebration of life will be planned for this summer.
